The American Marketing Association at York College of Pennsylvania is prepared for an
exciting and challenging year, to afford the opportunities for York College students to
gain exposure to the multifaceted fields of marketing in relation to the local business
community of York, PA. The American Marketing Association also works closely with the international
organization, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), providing free marketing plans and implementation
for SIFE's community outreach projects. The American Marketing Association (AMA executive
board has also begun their own outreach program, approaching local business to assist with
their marketing needs.
In 1990, the YCP Marketing Club became a chapter
of the American Marketing Association. The club is a social and
informative organization open to any student interested in getting
ahead in the business world. AMA is designed to serve as a medium
of exchange of knowledge in the field of marketing. Members will
enjoy a trade journal throughout the year. Programs, guest speakers,
and field trips to marketing related businesses are a large part of the
club's activities. After being an AMA member during college, students
